Mahinoor Fairooz holds an MSc from the University of Nottingham, awarded with a full scholarship under the prestigious Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship programme. She completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) at North South University with the academic distinction of Magna Cum Laude.

During her undergraduate studies, she conducted her research project on experimental models of stroke and developed strong expertise in mouse handling techniques.

Her research interests include phytochemistry, pharmacology, and bioinformatics.

Mahinoor began her professional career at Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where she served as a Product Executive for one year before pursuing her postgraduate education in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining North South University as a faculty member, she held the position of Lecturer at Primeasia University.
